About LiveWell Colorado and the Engage in the Change Annual Fundraising Luncheon
LiveWell Colorado is a nonprofit organization committed to reducing obesity in Colorado by promoting healthy eating and active living. In addition to educating and inspiring people to make healthy choices, LiveWell focuses on policy, environmental and lifestyle changes that remove barriers and increase access to healthy behaviors.
We reach more than 1,000,000 Coloradans through our three local initiatives:
Community Partnerships
A strong group of more than 20 locally-led coalitions throughout the state working to advance community-based healthy eating and active living (HEAL) initiatives and programs. Since 2005, the community partnerships program has directly benefited more than 330,000 Coloradans.
HEAL Cities & Towns Campaign
Partnerships with municipal leaders in more than 35 cities and towns focusing on access to healthy food, active transportation and worksite wellness.
LiveWell@School Food Initiative
Implemented in more than 90 school districts across the state, reaching more than 600,000 students. The program empowers food service directors and their staff to transform school meal preparation from processed foods to healthier, scratch-made options
