Legal Aid Conference 2015

The 2016 Legal Aid Conference

As the Government reviews its strategy for legal aid in Scotland, delegates will discuss funding challenges and policy priorities for the sector as well as practical pointers for legal aid practitioners.

The 2016 Legal Aid Conference will consist of joint sessions for both criminal & civil legal aid practitioners as well as streamed sessions covering criminal & civil topics. Each session will focus on key issues and will provide an opportunity to hear from expert speakers, ask questions, share experiences and network with fellow solicitors.

The conference will be chaired by Dave Lee, former editor of The Scotsman Legal Pages.

Whilst the agenda is still being set - this year’s topics will range from practical guides on the Sheriff Appeals Courts, streamlinging of the legal aid system, court reforms, digitalisation, through to taxation and accounts.

This conference is a not to be missed date in all legal aid practitioners - register for your place today and take advantage of our early bird rates.
