This class is for parents and their children born from 8/1/15 to 12/31/15. The children remain with their parents at all times. For parents, a caring teacher with child development training, leads discussions on parenting issues as well as provides informative hand-outs. It is a place to ask questions, share experiences and build friendships. Some of the topics that will be discussed include sleep issues, nutrition, baby proofing, car seat safety, separation issues, discipline, building self esteem, family traditions and co-parenting.

Infants
(born from 3/1/15-8/07/15)

This class is for parents and their children born from 3/1/15 to 8/7/15. The children remain in the same room as their parents at all times and enjoy playtime as well as circle time with their parents. Parents glean relevant parenting information through discussion and hand-outs while also gaining peer support and special friendships. Some of the topics that will be discussed include sleep issues, nutrition, baby proofing, car seat safety, separation issues, discipline, building self esteem, family traditions and co-parenting.

Older Babies

Some of the topics that will be discussed include sleep issues, nutrition, baby proofing, car seat safety, separation issues, discipline, building self esteem, family traditions and co-parenting.

Non-Separating Toddlers
(born from 12/2/13 to 10/15/14)

This class is for parents and their children born from 12/2/13 to 10/15/14. The children remain in the same room as their parents. For
parents, it is an excellent chance to observe their children in a group setting. A caring teacher, who is specially trained in child development, leads discussions on parenting issues as well as provides informative hand-outs. It is a place to ask questions, share experiences, and build friendships. Some of the topics that will be discussed are toddler development, toddlers and sleep, nurturing your marriage, reading to toddlers, the hurried child, when is the time to discipline and independence/autonomy coming. For children, this is a time each week for undivided attention from mom or dad as well as an opportunity to explore a rich and varied environment with other children their own age. The Teacher Assistant is qualified in child development, works closely with the children in a caring and creative manner, facilitating confidence and comfort during class and discussion times. Children also enjoy free play, seasonal crafts, and outdoor playtime.

This class is for parents and their children born from 12/2/12 to 12/1/13
For parents, it is an excellent chance to observe their children in a group setting. A caring teacher, who is specially trained in child development, leads discussions on parenting issues as well as provides informative hand-outs. It is a place to ask questions, share experiences, and build friendships. Some of the topics that will be discussed are autonomy, communicating with two's, parenting styles, two's and food, the five love languages, kids who laugh and preschool selection. For children, this is a time each week for undivided attention from mom or dad as well as an opportunity to explore a rich and varied environment with other children their own age. A wonderful Teacher Assistant, also qualified in child development, works closely with the children in a caring and creative manner, facilitating confidence and comfort during class and discussion times. Children also enjoy free play, seasonal crafts, and outdoor playtime.

Family Class - Newborns to Five Years Old

Parenting discussions are lead by a well trained, caring teacher with years of real life parenting experience and education. It is a place to ask questions, share experiences and build friendships. The topics covered will include building a strong family identity, developing a solid parenting philosophy based on current research, managing sibling rivalry, understanding developmental stages, learning eff ective discipline techniques, making holidays and traditions meaningful and much more! For children, this is a time each week for undivided attention from the parent well as an opportunity to explore a rich and varied environment with other children their own age. Teacher Assistants, also qualified in child development, work closely with the children in a caring and creative manner, facilitating confidence and comfort during class and discussion times. Kinder Readiness

In this interactive and informative class, parents will have the opportunity to spend quality time with their child, observing them in creative play and kindergarten readiness activities. A caring teacher with years of experience in child development and early literacy education will lead discussions on parenting issues, preparing for kindergarten, choosing the best school setting among other developmentally appropriate topics.
