Keynote Address: Communicate for Success
What secrets do successful people use – to persuade, influence and be heard? As women, do we sometimes unwittingly sabotage ourselves and give away the credit we deserve? Workplace communication “rules” have changed, and failure to play by the new rules can create conflict and misunderstanding. Connie Glaser presents a new game plan that builds on the strengths both men and women bring to the table.

*As part of this session, participants will view Michael Kimmel’s TED Talk, Why Gender Equality is Good For Everyone – Men Included, followed by a facilitated discussion with the panelists.*
We cannot fully empower women to advance in their careers unless we involve men as partners on the journey. Listen as panelists share their a-ha moments from their personal journey’s, engage in dialogue on why gender diversity is a business issue and not simply a women’s issue or a zero sum game, and discuss leadership behaviors that will create and sustain the culture to support gender equity in the workplace.
