This webinar is presented by Ken Gerber, an accredited specialist in commercial leasing and begins with a look at the distinction between a licence and a lease before going through the steps that should be taken to create a lease. Ken will then go on to look at common law and discuss specifically the obligations of the tenant and of the landlord.
You will also hear about implied terms in respect of repairs, renewal, rebuilding and replacement.
Finally Ken will discuss Inter Naturalia, specifically: obligations that continue, break options, options to renew or extend, rights and obligations that do not continue, exclusivity clauses and options to purchase.
