Bio

Adam J. Freeman, DDS, D-ABFO of Westport, Connecticut, earned his dental degree from Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine. He completed a fellowship in forensic odontology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and Center for Education and Research in Forensics (CERF) in 2003. Dr. Freeman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Odontology and currently serves as its President. He is one of less than one hundred board certified forensic dentists. He is the Dental Section Chief of Health and Human Services DMORT Region 1; a federal team dedicated to identifying the victims of mass fatality incidents. He is the Founder and Director of The State of Connecticut's Disaster Identification Response Team (DIRT, and the Deputy Chair of lnterpol's Disaster Victim Identification Odontology Working Group.

Dr. Freeman lectures internationally and has authored many chapters in textbooks as well as articles on the topic of forensic dentistry. Dr. Freeman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists (F.A.C.D.), Fellow of the International College of Dentists (FICD), a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD)
