Description:

Changes in the healthcare industry, such as the Affordable Care Act and the trend to integrate oral health and primary medical care is bringing many challenges to the dental practice.  While many of these changes are a positive step in patient care, they have resulted in an increased need for the dentist and team members to become familiar with both ICD-10 (diagnosis) and CPT (medical procedure) codes.

This one day course, utilizing our Scenario Based Teaching Method™, is designed to give dentists and team members an overview of those changes and gain basic knowledge required to file medical and dental claims with confidence.  We will cover diagnostic coding for dental and medical claims, as well as medical dental cross coding for common dental procedures.
