Description:  This is a course about real dentistry for real people that will be presented by a real dentist! Dr. Glazer will present a potpourri of materials and techniques that he uses to make the clinic day more productive, easy, and fun! The entire dental team can benefit from learning together about the latest dental products and how they can benefit patients. Dr. Glazer writes a monthly column by the same title for AGD Impact, the newsmagazine of the AGD, in which he reviews new products and materials. Topics to be addressed in this lecture course may include curing lights, desensitization and adhesives, composites for esthetic fillings, impression materials, provisional materials, burs, lasers, endodontic instruments, cements, tissue retraction and fluid control, reducing sensitivity with topical paste application and fluoride varnishes, matrix bands for perfect and predictable contacts, tooth whitening systems, oral cancer prevention, doctor-patient communication, going digital, and loupes.
