    Photography Waiver & Release 

    As is customary at conferences, a photographer/videographer will be present taking images of the proceedings which may include delegates. By registering for the conference, you consent to your photo and video being taken and published by the CPPA as part of the 3rd Canadian Conference on Positive Psychology-related materials. The photographs taken and used by the CPPA will be included into stock files. Delegates grant permission to the CPPA to photograph and video tape or use these photographs and video of any participants in audio visual and printed materials without compensation or approval rights.

    As a Delegate of the 3rd Canadian Conference, the act of completed registration grants the Canadian Positive Psychology Association (CPPA) and its legal representatives the absolute irrevocable right and unrestricted permission to use and publish photographs or video images of Delegates. This includes any purpose that is authorized by CPPA, including but not limited to: reuse, publish the same in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other photographs, and in conjunction with any printed matter, in any and all media, including but not limited to: illustration, art, brochures, editorial, catalog, promotion, advertising, trade, news articles, website use, and any other purpose whatsoever. This grant includes the right to modify and re-touch the image is at the discretion of the CPPA. The circulation of such materials could be worldwide and that there will be no compensation for Delegates for this use.

    In granting permission to the CPPA and its legal representatives or assigns and all persons acting under its permission or authority, Delegates fully and without limitation release, discharge, and agree to save harmless from any liability that may arise from the use of the images or by virtue of any alteration, processing or use thereof in composite form, whether intentional or otherwise, as well as any publication thereof. Delegates waive any right to inspect or improve the finished products; the advertising copy, or printed matter that may be used in connection therewith; or the use to which it may be applied. 

    Payment Policy

    Registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. All payments are to be made via Visa ir Mastercard. Your payment only includes the registration for the Conference. Hotel and additional costs must be paid directly to the appropriate vendor. Please proceed to reserve your accommodations to our special CPPA White Oaks Group Rate website

    All registrations are subject to validation upon the discretion of administration. Students are required to submit proof of valid student ID from a recognized institution as part of the registration process. CPPA members are required to be current members in good standing to qualify for special rates. Registration rates may be adjusted to the appropriate rate if these conditions are not met.

    Cancellation Policy

    Please note requests for cancellation must be made in writing. Email your request to conference@cppa.ca. Cancellation requests must be received on or before March 31st 2016 at 12:00 pm ET. An administrative fee of 10% will be deducted from the refund. No refunds will be issued after April 1st 2016. 

    Delegate substitutions are permissible. Please notify our offices if you intend to transfer your registration to another person. We ask that you please supply us with that person’s contact information. Changes to your conference registration must be made in writing. This may be subject to an administrative fee. The delegate may be required to pay the difference.
