Mr. (Guy) Dacquay is a graduate of Winnipeg’s Red River Community College in Electrical Engineering Technology and has thirty two years of experience in the federal regulation of electricity and natural gas measurement, working as an inspector, program officer, and currently as manager of Utility Metering Division for Measurement Canada (MC). Mr. Dacquay oversees the development and updating of electricity and gas legislation, specifications, policies, and programs, and is a permanent member of the MC/industry Electricity and Gas Process Advisory Committees. He has previously chaired the Canadian Workgroups that are contributing to the development of international type-approval and verification specifications for the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) on Technical Committees TC8 (Gas Meters) and TC12 (Electricity Meters). Mr. Dacquay resides in Ottawa, Ontario with his wife Christine and their children.
