Jason Laforest, a Professional Engineer since 2003, works for Union Gas in the Stations, Electrical & Controls Engineering department. He received his BASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor in 1997, and worked as a designer in the automotive sector for thirteen years before joining Union Gas in 2011. In addition to developing company policies and procedures regarding electrical safety, he also designs electrical installations for natural gas transmission and distribution facilities and provides guidance on the safe use of electrical equipment where hazardous locations are present.
