Carsten Vollrath

Carsten has over 25 years’ industrial and consulting experience, with expertise in business modelling and strategy development, operational strategy and innovation, performance improvement, organisational development, and procurement. Carsten holds an MBA and has also led research studies at major universities on new management theories focusing on value-chain redesign, Industrie 4.0, smart factory, artificial intelligence, digitalization and principles of collaborative intelligence.

Christian Dornacher leads the business development activity across EMEA for Storage & Analytics Solutions at Hitachi Data Systems, working closely with Hitachi Group companies and HDS internal teams including product management, engineering, marketing and sales, as well as partners and end-users. Christian has more than 24 years’ experience in IT, having held senior engineering and business development roles at companies including Digital Equipment, Megabyte, bdata systems, Paralan, McDATA and BlueArc, where he was responsible for the OEM Sales in EMEA and APAC.

Prof. Dr. Dietmar Killian gained over 20 years’ experience in management and leadership positions with organisations including Nixdorf Computers, Digital Equipment and SAP before joining MCI, Management Center Innsbruck, as an expert in Process, Project and Information Management. Since 2007, he has been the Managing Partner at PDAgroup GmbH, an international consulting company, and Chairman of the Advisory board at Academy Cube. Greg Kinsey

Greg leads Hitachi’s Industrial IoT strategy, solutions innovation, eco-system development, and new business start-up. Serving the manufacturing and distribution industries, he has over 25 years of experience in industry, technology, and consulting. He began his career as a factory automation engineer at Goodyear, and went on to lead the global manufacturing platform business at Digital Equipment Corporation. During the 1990s he was a pioneer of the Six Sigma movement, leading Operational Excellence at AlliedSignal Europe. Greg subsequently become a business transformation leader and expert, in senior executive roles at Siemens, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, and Celerant Consulting. He holds an MBA from Georgetown University, and BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He lives in Paris and is fluent in English, French, and German.
 
Kevin Eggleston
General Manager, Americas, Hitachi Insight Group
Kevin was instrumental in establishing Hitachi’s global IoT business. Today, as Hitachi Insight Group’s GM of the Americas, he orchestrates teams from multiple Hitachi Group companies in working cross-functionally to develop and bring to market a broad range of IoT-optimized solutions for a variety of industries, while shepherding IoT business strategy and operations for North and South America. Kevin is a seasoned veteran of the IT industry with more than 30 years of experience. Prior to his current role, he served as SVP and General Manager for Asia Pacific at Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), where he doubled the region’s revenue during his four-year tenure. He joined HDS following a 24-year stint with StorageTek, where he held sales and business leadership positions supporting the U.S., Latin America and Asia Pacific regions. Klaus Dieter Rennert is Chief Executive for EMEA-CIS, Hitachi, Ltd and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Hitachi Europe Ltd. Rennert previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Hitachi Power Europe GmbH and led Hitachi Power Europe since the company became part of the Hitachi Group in 2003. Olaf Heil
General Manager, Energy Solutions EMEA-CIS, Hitachi Europe
As General Manager of Energy Solutions for the EMEA-CIS region at Hitachi Europe, Olaf has responsibility for the development, promotion and delivery of innovative new ITC-based Energy Solutions. Prior to Hitachi, Olaf worked for several companies in the RWE-Group, the second biggest utility in Germany. He has 25 years’ energy sector experience in technical and commercial executive functions including MD, CEO and COO, heading large departments (250+ FTE) and having P&L responsibility for more than €300M. His technical background is in coal-fired power plants, and since 1995 he has worked on renewable energies and decentralized CHP plants. He has over 20 years’ international experience in large EPC-projects and international energy companies. Olaf has been responsible for the operation of more than 100 power plants in seven countries. He has worked on the trading of energy and sales of energy solutions, and has raised several project investments. In addition, he has had senior-level responsible for Innovation and New Technology development, including R&D. He has been a board member of many Energy associations and innovation think tanks.
 
Patrik Sjöstedt

Patrik Sjöstedt, based in Copenhagen, is General Manager for EMEA at Hitachi Insight Group. A global team focused on development of Internet of Things solutions and services. Patrik’s previous experience within the Hitachi Group includes EVP at Hitachi Consulting, leading Corporate Strategy development and the Operational Consulting practice. Patrik joined Hitachi through the acquisition of Celerant Consulting in 2013 where he was the CEO. Patrik started his career at Arthur Andersen and has 26 years of international experience both as a management consultant and line manager within industry in global Swedish companies like Alfa Laval and Perstorp. With experience from both sides of the “consulting table” Patrik has gained a deep understanding of both strategic business issues as well as the operational reality of running a global business. She started her career at Siemens as a project manager years before moving on to various roles in management and as a technology strategist and product manager at companies including Landis & Gyr, Klöckner & Moeller and o.tel.o. Roswitha has over 12 years’ industry experience in addition to consulting experience at Roland Berger, A D Little and Celerant. Roswitha has significant experience in Process Excellence (Lean/Six Sigma), Organisational Effectiveness, Performance Improvement, Cost Reduction and Operational Excellence of the Supply Chain with a focus on Procurement. She has led multiple international transformation projects over the last 25 years and gained extensive change management experience.
