The St. Mary's University Hispanic Law Alumni Association (HLAA) and the Hispanic Law Students Association (HLSA) hold an annual awards dinner to recognize community leaders that support and encourage students in academic achievement and success.
Proceeds from the dinner benefit the Henry B. Gonzalez Scholarship and the Ana L. Lopez Scholarship, which aid St. Mary's law students who have demonstrated a high level of service and commitment to the Hispanic community. The HLAA also offers bar grants to recent St. Mary's law graduates.
