GENIVI Technical Summit 2018 ~ Bangalore

Aligning Automotive Trends & Open Technologies

The work of the GENIVI Alliance is at the forefront of many automotive trends including the integrated digital cockpit, ECU consolidation, virtualized software domains and a host of other topics that developers and architects of automotive systems must understand to deliver automotive software solutions.

During the upcoming GENIVI Technical Summit, scheduled for October 10-11, 2018 at the Sheraton Grande Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway in Bengaluru (Bangalore), India, automotive software experts will present the GENIVI vehicle domain interaction strategy launched last October and the progress made on strategic projects including graphics sharing & distributed HMI, communication protocols and the use of hypervisors in context where safety, IVI and connected mobile device domains must interact.

Recent deliverables from three active domain interaction projects will be presented and event participants can engage in hands-on activities with APIs and code.  Awareness and skills gained at this event will equip participants to understand the emerging, cross-domain architecture, the challenges posed and the solutions available to bridge functions across automotive software domains.

GENIVI is pleased to engage the broad, automotive development ecosystem in India and looks forward to empowering developers with new technologies for automotive software.
