Walkers, Strollers and Pets

Strollers and walkers are welcome.  Dogs, unfortunately, are not able to participate in the race due to the safety concerns of the other participants.

Timing

NOTE: We will be using ChronoTrack timing system.

You MUST wear your bib number visibly on the front of your shirt during the race and especially at the FINISH LINE so we can electronically score you properly.  When registering, we must know your correct age to score you properly.  Please look at the STICKER on your bib number to assure that your name, gender, age, and city are correct.  Please inform the registrar of any corrections that need to be made.

Split Start

We expect to have hundreds of runners and walkers.  For safety reasons, we will split the start of the race by having runners go off first followed by the walkers.  Please stay alert and wait for the announcement of each group start.

No Cheating, Please

We will have course marshals/volunteers with clipboards at specified locations through the course.  They will record bib numbers of the leading male and female runners.  To be eligible for an award, you MUST run the entire course, and you MUST be listed on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place clipboards.  Therefore, DO NOT obscure your bib number with another shirt or pin it to the side of your shorts.  Your bib number MUST be worn so that it is visible on the FRONT of your shirt.

We Discourage Headphones

We DISCOURAGE the use of headphones, cell phones, or other portable listening devices during the competition.  Our course marshals/volunteers must be able to communicate the turns to you and they must be able to ask you to show your bib number at the turns.  Feel free to warm up before the race or cool down after the race wearing your listening devices, but please DO NOT wear them during the competition.

Food and Beverage

Complimentary fruit, food and beverages will be available at the finish line.  These items are for race day participants and not for consumption by the general public NOT participating in the race.  Please inform your non-participating guest of this policy.
