About the event
During the ENABLE 2 ACT Conference, outcomes of the ENABLE project will be presented and discussed, and future avenues of work explored. The conference will also aim to encourage participants to review their own role, not only when it comes to preventing and diminishing the harmful effects of bullying, but also in promoting more positive on- and offline interaction as a means of fostering active citizenship from early childhood onwards.
More than a conference, ENABLE 2 ACT will be an open forum for debate between young people and their parents and teachers, leading researchers, social and mobile platform providers, psychologists and policy makers, offering them a unique opportunity to discuss, learn, share experiences and create.
About ENABLE
ENABLE (European Network Against Bullying in Learning and Leisure Environments) aims to tackle bullying in a holistic way, helping young people exercise their fundamental rights in the home, school, class and community (i.e. peer group).
The project aims to develop social and emotional learning skills as a means of building resilience in young people so that they can better understand and become more responsible and effective for their on- and offline social interactions.
ENABLE is funded by the Daphne Programme of the European Union. The
