Q: What is the Experian Health Financial Performance Summit?

A: The Experian Health Financial Performance Summit is a three-day event that provides hands-on expert learning opportunities and the exchange of knowledge with peers in an engaging environment. The agenda features two highly acclaimed speakers, client- and Experian Health–led educational sessions, a dedicated leadership track, one-on-one training, networking lunches and receptions, and live entertainment at evening events.


Q: Who should attend the Experian Health Financial Performance Summit?

A: All healthcare professionals who impact the financial health and revenue-cycle performance of their organization should attend. The Summit features a multitrack agenda for hospitals, medical groups and specialty provider clients on important topics such as physician orders and scheduling, patient access, claims and contract management, online patient portals, population health management and collections. Specific breakout sessions are designed for executives, directors, managers, as well as and new and experienced Experian Health power users.


Q: Can I receive continuing education credits for attending the Experian Health Financial Performance Summit?

A: Yes. The opportunity to earn continuing education credits is available through Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM). Q: How do I register for the Summit?

A: Register online by Friday, Oct. 30, 2015. All confirmed registrants will receive an email from Experian Health within three business days. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your registration is not complete. If this occurs, please email Experian Health at experianhealth@experian.com.


Q: What is the cost to attend the Summit?

A: The early-bird conference fee is $495 and includes event-related meals; conference materials; all general and breakout sessions, including two keynote presenters; and entertainment expenses. It does not include hotel room and travel expenses. Experian Health has negotiated a room rate of $199 plus applicable taxes per night at the host hotel, the Grand Hyatt San Antonio. The conference fee after Oct. 16 is $649.


Q: How do I pay the conference fee?

A: Payment via credit card is available during the online registration process. All major credit cards are accepted. Payment via check also is acceptable; there is an option to request an invoice to pay via check during the online registration process.


Q: What is the hotel room rate?

A: The negotiated room rate at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio is $199 plus applicable taxes per night. Attendees are responsible for securing their own hotel room reservations and all hotel expenses. A valid credit card is needed to secure a hotel room.


Q: Will all Summit events be hosted at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio?

A: Yes. All conference sessions, including breakfast, lunch and evening events, will be hosted at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio. All meals and entertainment expenses not hosted by Experian Health during the dates of Nov. 16–18 are at the attendee’s expense.


Q: Do I need to make my own hotel reservations?
A: Yes. A valid credit card will be required to secure all room reservations. To secure a discounted room at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio, either:

Q: Can I transfer a Summit registration from one attendee in my organization to another?

A: Yes. Registration transfers between employees within one organization can be accommodated at any time prior to the start of the conference at no charge. Please send an email to experianhealth@experian.com regarding the transfer of registration.


Q: Can I cancel my Summit registration and receive a refund?

A: To cancel your registration, please send an email to experianhealth@experian.com. Full Summit registration refunds are available until Oct. 30, 2015. Attendees will need to contact the hotel and/or the airline directly to cancel hotel and travel reservations.


Q: What is the in-room Internet charge at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio?

A: In-room Internet access at the hotel is complimentary for conference attendees.


Q: What is the cost to visit the fitness center at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio?

A: The fitness center is complimentary for conference attendees and accessible 24-7 with a room key.


Q: When I arrive at San Antonio International Airport, what is the best method of transportation to the hotel?

A: The most expedient way to travel from the airport to the hotel is via taxi. One-way taxi fare is approximately $25. Q: What is the attire for the three-day event?

A: Attire is business casual. Don’t forget to bring your favorite concert T-shirt for Tuesday evening’s Rock ‘n’ Roll themed Customer Appreciation party.

Q: What is the average temperature in San Antonio during this time of year?

A: The temperature in San Antonio in November ranges from 49 to 71 degrees Fahrenheit. Meeting rooms may be cold, so a light sweater or jacket is recommended.


Q: Will printed handouts of presentations be available at the Summit?

A: Printed versions of session handouts will not be provided. Prior to the Summit, attendees will receive instructions electronically on how to access all presentations via a secured client Website.


Q: Can I bring a guest to the Summit?

A: Guests are welcome to attend evening dinner and entertainment events for a fee of $50 per person. All guests must be 21 years of age or older.
