Developing Ultrasound Skills Course

 Target audience

Consultant rheumatologists, Specialist Registrars in rheumatology and allied health professionals who have attended a Basic Ultrasound Course and regularly use ultrasound.

Delegates must have previously attended a Basic Ultrasound Course (or equivalent) and regularly carry out scanning within their day-to-day work.

Aims and objectives:

A two day course to build on knowledge gained from a Basic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. The course will provide a comprehensive review of regional musculoskeletal ultrasound with emphasis on the differential diagnosis of musculoskeletal pathology and the practical use of ultrasound in diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of patients with rheumatic disease The faculty will consist primarily of consultants in clinical rheumatology.
