Tim Musson Managing Director Computer Law Training For many years Tim Musson was a lecturer in the School of Computing at Edinburgh Napier University. In 2009 he graduated with a Master of Laws degree from the University of Strathclyde and left to set up his business, Computer Law Training, specialising in Data Protection and Information Security. In this business Tim focuses on training in Data Protection and Information Security, support for Data Protection compliance and Information Security (audits, procedures, policies, etc) and offering an outsourced Data Protection Officer Service. He is a frequent speaker at Law Society of Scotland seminars and conferences, and, by invitation, at other events and conferences. In addition to his other clients he provides large numbers of Scottish solicitors with CPD training in data protection and the GDPR. He is currently Convenor of the Law Society of Scotland’s Privacy Law Committee, where he has contributed to consultations on the new EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Investigatory Powers Act.
