John Hunter is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years experience in the construction industry covering building, civil engineering, mechanical and electrical, and marine engineering works up to £500m in value. John is the senior partner of Hunter Consulting, a firm at the forefront of dispute resolution in Scotland,

John also provides high-level consultancy advice, problem solving difficult commercial problems on current projects focusing upon negotiated solutions that help deliver successful outcomes for all parties involved.

He is the Chairman of the construction dispute resolution faculty board of the RICS in Scotland, and past Chairman of the CIArb Scottish branch and past Vice Chairman of the SBCC.

John has extensive experience as an Arbitrator and Adjudicator registered on the RICS, CIArb and Scottish Building panels in Scotland and has issued adjudication/arbitration decisions in over 250 cases.

Brandon Malone is a solicitor advocate with twenty years experience of construction and commercial dispute resolution. He is the Chairman of the Scottish Arbitration Centre and Co-Director of the International Centre for Energy Arbitration. He is an accredited specialist in both construction and arbitration law. He lectures on dispute resolution topics at various Scottish universities. In 2013 he was elected an Eminent Fellow of the RICS.
