Who should attend?

This CIA Review Course (8 CPE hrs per day) is designed to help and prepare students for the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) examination.  The review course is ideal for internal audit professionals who:

  • Are beginning their CIA exam preparations and want an overview of the key CIA exam topics.
  • Enjoy peer discussion and live instruction from a qualified facilitator.
  • Have the desire to compare ideas and notes with other CIA candidates.

This live instructor-led review course utilizes the IIA CIA Learning System, a premier-quality exam preparation program developed by The IIA. Course materials, which are included in the cost of the full registration ($250 IIA Tidewater and $350 non-members) are delivered in a blended format consisting of printed workbooks and web-based software.

What materials are utilized for the course?

This course uses the EXACT books sold by the IIA which is The IIA CIA Learning System.  All materials will be directly ordered from the IIA.


Note: The cost of this course has been underwritten by the IIA Tidewater Chapter as a service to its members. Therefore, the cost of this seminar/materials at the Tidewater Chapter member rate and even the cost of the non-member rate are significantly less than any other review course offered.

What type of payments do you accept?

Payments by credit card should be made at the time of registration.  The IIA Tidewater Chapter accepts VISA and MasterCard.  Checks are NOT accepted.

What is the substitution policy?

Substitutions allowed.  Please notify us at Lremias@vbgov.com of substitutions prior to the start of the event.

What is the refund policy?

Due to the fact that it is necessary for books to be ordered there are no refunds for this course.  However, you can use your payment for a future CIA Exam review course.

WIll I receive CPE?

Those attending the meeting may quality for up to eight (8) hours of continuing professional education (CPE) per day in accounting and auditing.
