W Chicago City Center in the financial district and Loop will host The Beat Live Sept. 20-22. A $40 million renovation of 368 guest rooms and meeting space was completed in January.

W is the contemporary, design-led, lifestyle brand of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide launched a decade ago. Chicago City Center was among the first in the W portfolio when Starwood opened the property in 2001 in a building rich in history. Refreshed a couple times since then, the latest update is designed to keep the property on the cutting edge of W style. Instead of a lobby, hang in the Living Room. Work out in SWEAT. Work and eat anytime with the hotel's 24/7 business center, in-room dining and concierge service. W refers to the concierge offering as "Whatever/Whenever" and promises to deliver whatever a guest wants, as long as it's legal!

A limited number of standard--Wonderful in the W world--rooms are reserved at our negotiated rate of $239 per night plus 15.4 percent sales tax. Rooms at this special rate are SOLD OUT. They include all of W's amenities as well as complimentary Internet access and are bookable only through The Beat Live online registration site.
If you booked a room earlier at the JW Marriott, we automatically moved your reservation to the W Chicago City Center. ProMedia.travel will protect your confirmed rate. Unfortunately, the JW Marriott Chicago again delayed its opening to later this year, which prompted us to relocate the conference to the W, located across the street.

Booking policies: All room reservations must be guaranteed for late arrival with a major credit card. An early departure fee equal to one night's room rate and tax will apply if attendee checks out prior to the checkout date confirmed at checkin.
