He is also the founder of Oracle’s North American Partner Council for Identity Management, as well as the extended ISV ecosystem for Oracle Identity Management. Hormazd Romer, Director, Oracle Identity Management Hormazd Romer is Director of Oracle's Identity Management product line. He has several years of expertise in Identity Management and is a frequent speaker at industry events and webcasts. Prior to Oracle, Hormazd was a Product Line Manager at Sun Microsystems where he helped drive the launch of the Liberty Alliance. Vipin Samar, Vice President, Oracle Database Security Vipin Samar is Vice President of the Database Security Engineering group at Oracle. Mr. Samar is responsible for overseeing development of all database related security technologies such as authentication, authorization and auditing within the database, as well as several Oracle security products including Oracle Advanced Security, Database Vault, Audit Vault, and Label Security. He has over 15 years of experience in the area of security including databases, PKI, Single Sign-On, and Identity Management. Prior to Oracle, he was in Sun’s Solaris, networking and security engineering groups. He has 10 patents in the area of security and information retrieval. Roxana Bradescu, Sr. Director, Oracle Database Security Roxana Bradescu is responsible for bringing Oracle’s database security portfolio to market. Roxana has more than 20 years of professional experience, and has held senior product marketing and management positions at VeriSign, Excite@Home, and Sun Microsystems as well as several early stage startups. She started her career at AT&T Bell Labs where she worked on the NSF InterNIC Directory and Database Services and numerous IETF standards She holds an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University in New York City, and a BS Summa Cum Laude in Econometrics from Georgia State University. Paul Needham, Director, Oracle Product Management & Database Security Paul Needham is Director of Product Management for Database Security at Oracle. He is responsible for the development of Oracle Database security features and products spanning, Oracle Advanced Security, Oracle Database Vault, Oracle Audit Vault, to Oracle Label Security. Mr. Needham first joined Oracle in 1991 as part of Oracle Consulting, where he worked closely with customers to help them identify their security needs and challenges and build innovative solutions.
