Crowne Plaza, Le Palace

ACTE is, again, proud to partner with BATM (Belgium Association of Travel Management) for our next Brussels forum on 24th Feb 2014.

With the support of an expert planning committee based in Belgium, we have developed an education programme which will focus on practical issues as well as identify innovation and trends which will affect the way we operate and deliver results over the coming year.

We encourage international travel professionals to join us for a day of interactive, immersive learning, provocative discussion and networking. We welcome members and non-members.

Part 1: Workshop – The Art of Successful Negotiations

Buyers and suppliers will join practical, interactive workshop sessions to be run simultaneously, focusing on skills, top tips and techniques to hone the fine art of negotiations.

Each group will be given a case study and asked to define their approach to the negotiation cycle: Identify objectives and drivers, and pinpoint areas of potential conflict in both internal and/or external priorities. After assessing obstacles and operational constraints, each group will outline the most effective way to organise the negotiation process for the best outcome: The methodology; key arguments and the levers to compromise for a win/win outcome. During the second half of the workshop, the groups will merge together again and a volunteer will be nominated from both the buyer and supplier groups for a live negotiation with audience feedback.
