Senior Vice President of Production
Time Inc.
As Senior Vice President, Production for Time Inc., Guy is responsible for the Production Division and Strategic Sourcing as well as sustainability activities of the Production Division. In his production role, Guy oversees all magazine team and central service production staff, pre-media content production, manufacturing operations, paper and print procurement services, postal affairs, distribution operations, and production technologies for Time Inc. He is also responsible for production operations at Time Inc.’s U.K. based subsidiary IPC Media.As part of their planned spinoff from Time Warner, Time Inc. is establishing a new Strategic Sourcing group and Guy has been charged with establishing that group within the company.
In his sustainability role Guy is responsible for developing sustainability strategies and integrating those plans and policies into the procurement and manufacturing operations he oversees.
Prior to being named Senior Vice President in 2007, Guy was the Director of Paper & Digital Development for Time Inc. where he was responsible for directing the company’s global paper procurement operations and the production technology team. Guy has an extensive background in magazine production and supporting technologies. He served in numerous operational and management roles including Director of Print for Time Inc. and Production Director at Fortune magazine.
Guy is the Chairman of the Board for GreenBlue, a nonprofit organization that works with businesses to make products more sustainable. He has also served as Chairman of the IDEAlliance Board of Directors.
