Jim Collins
Performance Management Strategy Executive – Business Analytics

Jim is a Performance Management Strategy Executive within the Business Analytics Group at IBM. He works closely with the Sales and Solutions delivery teams to ensure that IBM’s Performance Management (PM) solutions are best aligned to address enterprise or industry-specific business issues and challenges, as expressed by the Finance and Management Executives at our clients. Jim has over 35 years of Financial Management experience including holding the positions of CFO and Controller. He has a wide background in various industries including Telecom, Semiconductors, Consumer Products, Manufacturing, Import/Export, Ethical Pharmaceuticals and Electronics. Jim has been in the seats of our customers and prospects and adds valuable insight to best practices and successful processes to aid in the design and implementation/integration of IBM solutions.

Nathan Coutinho

Nathan Coutinho is a Senior Manager in CDW’s Strategy Group.  He has more than 18 years of experience in the IT industry with various roles in consulting, engineering, management, marketing, strategy and technical sales.  His primary responsibilities include leading strategy and business development projects to achieve short and long-term company initiatives.  Other responsibilities including evaluating emerging technologies and educating clients on the trends and directions in the market, with a primary focus on big data, business continuity, cloud, data center convergence and enterprise mobility.  Nathan graduated from Indiana State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and a minor in Accounting.  For more information, visit www.cdw.com.

Sherry Finkel Murphy is a business unit executive in the IBM business analytics brand.  Her experience spans all of the top business intelligence vendors as a sales leader, sales coach, and "ambassador" for the value of analytics.  Over the years, Sherry has assisted customers to identify analytics ROIs in the multiple millions of dollars.  And she has helped them launch and grow analytics initiatives that have changed careers, company trajectories and the status quo.  



Kevin McConnell

Kevin is a field solution architect at CDW with responsibility for IBM’s business analytics and information management portfolios. He has over 15 years’ experience in the IT industry across a number of different technologies including: business intelligence, data warehousing, data integration, application development and application architecture. As a field solution architect with national coverage, he is able to assist CDW customers onsite to create optimal solutions to solve their business problems.

A former editor-in-chief of events and research at InformationWeek magazine, Charles founded Modern Media Partners, a conferences production company that focused primarily on the content of live events. Charles has been an IT and business journalist for more than 20 years.


Fredrik Tunvall

Fredrik Tunvall is an analyst in Ovum’s Information Management Software group. In this role, he researches and reports on a broad range of topics in the information management arena, but has a special interest in business intelligence and analytics solutions.  Prior to joining Ovum, Fredrik served in several technical, consultancy, and project management roles in research labs at multiple top-tier academic institutions in the US. Throughout his career he has gained a broad technological and analytical understanding of everything from application development and data management to the more high-level human-computer interaction.  Fredrik holds an MSc in Neuroscience from Columbia University.
