Event Description
Course Description: This course aims to develop students’ identities as writers in the world, as well as to enhance their curiosity about writing and why authors make the choices they do. Through discussing the work of established poets, fiction writers, memoirists, and essayists, and by creating and discussing their own work, participants of this course will learn to identify and express their voices through writing.
Course Objectives:
To learn the craft of writing effective creative material
To gain insight into personal and community motivations for writing
To share writing with peers & to build a supportive artistic network
