2019 CALL FOR PAPERS - SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- You will need to complete the online form.
- You will be asked to provide the following information when completing the online form:
- Presentation title
- A brief summary of the presentation
- The level of the presentation: Entry, Intermediate, Advanced
- Presentation focus: Primary care providers, behavioral health providers, or both
- A description of the presentation with a 300 word limit.
- Three specific session objectives
- Audio Visual Needs
- A Resume/CV for each presenter. (Submissions will not be accepted without resumes)
- Proposed length of session (1.5 hours or 3 hours)
- Criteria for evaluating proposals will include:
- Consistency with the conference theme
- Clarity of learning objectives
- Addressing issues of concern to the target audience
- Presentation is within the time frame (1.5 hours or 3 hours)
- Topic reflects skills and knowledge about emerging/developing/evidence-based practices
- Presentation is not a sales pitch for a particular program/agency
Honoraria are not provided for workshop presenters. Hotel, travel, and other costs are at the presenter’s expense. A complimentary full-conference registration will be furnished for primary presenters who provide a 3 hour workshop. A complimentary registration will be provided for one secondary presenter for the day of the workshop. For workshops less than 3 hours, one complimentary registration will be provided for the primary presenter for the day of the workshop. Complimentary registrations are not transferable. All presenters are responsible for their own transportation, hotel and any other costs associated with the presentation.
Note - You will be timed out after 30 minutes of registrant inactivity. We strongly suggest you have an electronic copy of your submission readily available so you can easily copy/paste sections into your submission form within the 30 minute time limit.
