* Does each facility need a separate completed orientation packet: SAC, ROS, So SAC?
No, only one completed orientation packet is needed for the Sacramento Service Area.  The completed orientation packets are stored in a shared drive, which SAC, ROS, and So SAC GME Offices could access.

*Are meals provided to residents, while rotating at Kaiser?
Sacramento, Roseville and South Sacramento:
The purpose of the on-call meal policy is to provide on-site meals for residents.

Each resident is assigned a specific dollar amount for each clinical rotation. To obtain meals, please use SOGO Card.
SOGO card will be issued by the Residency Program Administrator.
Residents who forget to bring and present their meal card will be held responsible for purchasing their own meals. Residents are responsible for reporting lost, stolen or damaged cards immediately to the GME coordinator. At the end of each clinic rotation, there will be no carry over of unused allocations. Meal cards will be deactivated at the end of each clinical rotation and automatically reloaded before each block begins.

SOGO card is to be kept by trainee until the end of residency. Each block roster will allocate funds as such:
1 week = $56; 2 weeks = $112; 3-4 weeks+ = $225

Cafeteria purchases cap at a $50 daily limit. Please do not wait until the last day of rotation to utilize your meal funds - as this is abusing the meal privilege and cafe inventory.

A UC Davis ID badge is required to confirm identity. This is for theft protection.
