Welcome to the Grand Round Service Center
Congratulations on your selection as a Grand Round presenter at INS 2018! We look forward to your presentation. The following information will help guide you as you prepare your presentation.
PREPARE
To ensure a consistent, professional look between all presentations, it is required that you use the official PowerPoint template for your presentation. Click on the button below to access to the PowerPoint template.
GUIDELINES:
- Limit file size upload to 30 megabytes.
- Limit video content to a maximum of 5 minutes total.
- Limit the amount of content on your slides to a maximum of 6 bullet points.
Speaker notes that are available in PowerPoint will NOT be available to you during your presentation. Print out any speaker notes before the meeting and bring them with you.
You will have 20 minutes for your presentation. We recommend limiting the presentation to 15 minutes to allow time for questions from the audience. Please be respectful of the presenters that follow you, and do not go over your time limit.
SUBMIT
The deadline to submit your presentation is APRIL 17, 2018. Click on the link below
to submit your PowerPoint. For easier identification of presentations, name and
save your PowerPoint file using your full name and "GR". For example:
John Smith GR
You will receive an email to confirm the PowerPoint was successfully uploaded. If your PowerPoint is not submitted by the required deadline, you will not be allowed to present. Please contact INS as soon as possible if you are unable to meet the deadline.
COPYRIGHT AND PERMISSIONS
You will need to obtain written permission to reuse or adapt ANY copyrighted material used in your PowerPoint presentation. Click here for information regarding copyright and permission requirements.
ANCC REQUIREMENTS
All content of your presentations must be reviewed the INS Education Department. The content of your presentation will be reviewed as directed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to ensure "best available evidence is presented, the content is balanced, and the content is not promotional or biased." 1 If your presentation violates ANCC accreditation guidelines, you will be contacted by the INS education department.
PLEASE NOTE: Infusion Nursing Grand Rounds presenters must be registered INS 2018 attendees. All expenses related to the presentation and meeting attendance (including but not limited to travel, transportation, lodging, and meals) are the responsibility of the presenter (no industry support is permitted).
