Topic 1: Building and Housing Skills for the Future

Participants are asked to consider the apprenticeships and qualifications we currently have for Building & Housing, across the whole piece i.e. materials, off-site manufacture, on-site construction and maintenance. They are asked to identify:

• Skills that may no-longer be needed;

• Known major skills gaps that need to be filled over the 5 years;

• New skills that will be required over the next 5 years; and

• Whether we need to develop skills through apprenticeships, qualifications are a mixture of both.

Topic 2: Civil & Infrastructure Skills for the Future

Participates are asked to consider the apprenticeships and qualifications we currently have for Civil & Infrastructure, across the whole piece i.e. materials, off-site manufacture, on-site construction and maintenance. They are asked to identify:

• Skills that may no-longer be needed;

• Known major skills gaps that need to be filled over the 5 years;

• New skills that will be required over the next 5 years; and

• Whether we need to develop skills through apprenticeships, qualifications are a mixture of both.
