Nitin is Hong Kong born and spent his entire career in Hong Kong, beginning his career in 1997 working at a boutique Futures Broker trading Japanese commodities. He then moved on to Richmond Asset Management in 1999, where after initially working as an investment consultant, he moved to the research department, becoming an analyst for the firm’s discretionary managed portfolios. During this period, Nitin developed his technical analysis skills specializing in mutual funds as well as US equities. He then moved on to ING Financial Planning (now called FWD Financial Planning Limited) in 2005 where he became the Investment Manager there developing and managing a fund trading service for their clients. In 2008, with extensive knowledge built up in the mutual fund sector, he was asked to assist with the construction of new unit-linked products at ING Life. Nitin rejoined Richmond Asset Management in 2010 as the Investment Manager after being presented with an opportunity to manage equity funds they were just launching. Nitin has been a Responsible Officer for Type 4 (Advising on Securities) at both ING and Richmond between May 2009 and April 2014, as well as Responsible Officer for Type 9 (Asset Management) at Richmond from October 2011.
