Chairman, Carey

Jorge Carey is Chairman of Carey, the largest law firm in Chile.

He has been president of several publicly traded corporations. He is the chairman of Moneda Chile Fund, vice-chairman of Minera Quebrada Blanca, Enaex and AFP Provida (Metlife) and director of Cemento Melón and Masisa.

Jorge Carey has received many awards throughout his career. In 2007 he became the first Chilean lawyer to receive the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from Chambers and Partners.

His practice focuses on corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and international arbitration.
