The newest winery in West Kelowna, BC. Indigenous World Winery opened its doors in May of 2016. The Indigenous first peoples of the Okanagan and Simikameen Valleys located in British Columbia, Canada are the Okanagan Syilx people. They have lived on and protected these lands for 1000’s of years. Robert Louie and his wife Bernice are descendants of the Syilx people and are connected to the land and its rich history. Come enjoy award winning wines where the soil, the roots and everything that means “Okanagan” come together to create wonderful wines. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Red Rox Club, an aboriginal inspired restaurant using local greenhouses, farms, cheese makers and purveyors with a casual approach to dining.

Enjoy the unique red and white wines at family owned Little Straw Vineyards, located at the foot of Mt. Boucherie. Winemaker Peter Slamka is known for his exceptional Pinot Noirs and for producing the only Auxerrois Icewine in Canada. They produce a complete range of wines with something to suit most every taste. Little Straw always features breathtaking art by local artists in their beautifully spacious tasting room. In 2013 the Intervin International Wine Awards awarded Little Straw Vineyards Bronze Medals for their 2011 La Petite Paille Cuvee Blanc and their 2012 La Petite Paille Sauvignon Blanc.

Kalala Organic Estate Winery is located on the Upper Bench of beautiful West Kelowna. Overlooking the Okanagan Lake, the winery has a breathtaking view and an old-world charm.

The vineyards were deemed certified organic in September 2010. The philosophy is to allow the varietal characteristics and terroir to be truly expressed and only enhanced by minimal handling during winemaking. Kalala took home a Gold Medal for their 2011 Aspire and a Silver for their 2011 Dostana at the 2015 Pacific Rim Wine Competition. Most recently they won gold for their 2013 Chardonnay Ice Wine at the Chardonnay du Monde competition held in France March, 2016. With complex flavours combined with the organic practice of their wines, Kalala provides a truly unique experience.
