Award Categories
The NSW & ACT Awards for Excellence hosts 7 awards categories.
The award categories are:
Employee
This award recognises the dedication and contribution of an individual employee in the delivery of services to older people and people with a disability.
Volunteer
The award recognises an individual who exemplifies the tireless generosity of volunteers in caring for and supporting older people, people with disabilities and their carers.
Trainee
This awards celebrates the outstanding achievements of an employee who is studying and working towards a qualification in the aged care sector.
Organisation
This award recognises a provider organisation that demonstrates special or unique leadership, innovation and excellence to the sector.
Sustainability
This award recognises a provider organisation that has demonstrated outstanding sustainability practices.
Human Resource Management
This award recognises a provider organisation that demonstrates excellence in Human Resource Management.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Competencies
This award recognises a non-Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander provider organisations that demonstrates excellence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Competencies.
