Plenary 3 - Friday 18 October at 2:00pm
Erin Brockovich

Best know as the strong-willed, stubborn and gutsy legal clerk who was instrumental in brokering the largest medical settlement lawsuit in history.  Erin became even more famous when Julia Roberts portrayed her in the award winning movie ‘Erin Brockovich’, helping transform her from unknown legal researcher into 20th century icon.

Today, Erin continues to fight with passion and determination to expose injustice and lend her voice to those who do not have one. Author and one of the most requested speakers on the international lecture circuit, Erin’s philosophy is best summed up by this quote on her website:

‘If you follow your heart, if you listen to your gut and if you extend your hand to help another, not for any agenda, but for the sake of humanity, you are going to find the truth’.
