Dr. Fatima Salem Al Jaberi
Chief Resident, Pediatric Residency Program
Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC)

Dr. Fatima is a graduate of UAE University-Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences and currently the Chief Resident at Pediatric Residency Program in Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. She completed her 12-month internship in the same facility where she was trained from Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Elective Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Internal Medicine.

She is actively participating in professional and clinical organization that includes the MRCPH clinical exam on Nov 2015, SKMC; participated in 2nd Polio campaign which took place Feb 2015 and played a major role in translating & rephrasing Child Protection Guide-line to Arabic Language. Currently, she is working in Kawasaki’s disease descriptive study, under the supervision of Dr.Jihad Al Mistarihi, consultant General pediatric at SKMC.
 
Dr. Hamza Ahmad Al Sayouf
Senior Consultant Child Neurologist
Mafraq Hospital
Dr. Alsayouf is a Consultant Child Neurologist from Mafraq Hotel. He had his training at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Ohio State University, 2006-2009. He worked as Child Neurologist at Mercy Medical Hospital in Des Moines, IA from 2009 to 2012 and at the same time serves as Assistant Professor at Des Moines Osteopathic School of Medicine.  He is a member of the American Academy of Radiology Fellowship and obtained the American board certification in Pediatrics and in Child Neurology.
 
Dr. Huda Kamal Sadek
Consultant General Pediatrics
Mafraq Hospital

Dr. Huda worked as Specialist in various pediatric facilities in United Kingdom until she obtained her CCT in General Pediatric and in Community Child Health. She continues working as a Consultant Pediatrician in UK where her main area of interest is children development and special needs and had been involved deeply in child protection service and children care. Currently, she serves as the Consultant General Pediatrics of the Mafraq Hospital. 

 
Dr. Jayachandran Panickar MD FRCPCH
Division Head & Paediatric Pulmonologist
Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC)

Dr. Jayachandran is a Paediatric Pulmonologist who serves as the Division Head of SKMC since December 2015. Before working in UAE, he was the Clinical Director of Manchester Paediatric CF Network, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, United Kingdom for almost 9 years.

In his first year in SKMC, he was able to actively participate in major changes to the CF service of his facility including creation of CF Database, MRSA/PA and No Growth CF clinics, CF awareness day was conducted on 19th March 2016, submission of 4 abstracts to ECF Conference and CFRD clinic. He authored numerous publications and has been invited to different conferences to present his researches and findings to his specialty.

 
Dr. Salwa Salem Khalaf Al Hosani

Dr. Salwa AlHosani   is child and adolescent specialist psychiatrist works in SKMC-BSP Child and adolescent psych clinic –AD. She got her MD from Arabian Gulf University –Kingdom of Bahrain 2006. She joined residency program in Dortmund Germany 2009-2011. She got her Arab Board degree in psychiatry in 2013. She is in charge for child psych liaison she is member of UAE child protection team.

 
Dr. Sareea Al Remeithi MBBS; MRCPCH &CABP
Chief, Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist /Director of the Pediatric Residency Program

Dr.Sareea has been appointed as the division chief of the Pediatric Endocrinology service at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi UAE. She had obtained her MBBS from UAE University in 2002 and completed her clinical and academic training in Pediatrics at UAE University in 2007.  She had specialized in Pediatric Endocrinology at the Hospital of Sick children, Toronto, Canada in 2013.  Her clinical and research interest are in the area of puberty disorders, disorder of sexual developments and uses of technologies in managing type I diabetes mellitus.

 
Dr. Zaid Al-Aubaidi
Consultant orthopaedic surgeon /Subspecialty in Paediatric orthopaedic and paediatric spine

Dr. Zaid Al-Aubaidi achieved the Danish Royal Board in Orthopaedic and Trauma in 2007 and had one year fellowship in paediatric orthopedics. He had as well a fellowship at the Sick Kids hospital/ Toronto, with the focus on complex spine deformities. Since 2009; he had a position at the Odense university hospital as a consultant paediatric orthopaedic surgeon. At the same time, he was enjoying an academic position as an associate professor at the University of Southern Denmark.

Dr. Al-Aubaidi had active overseas activities. He was 3 times in Western Africa in a charity program. Besides, he had been active in organizing trips as visiting consultant to Switzerland, Germany, China and Iraq.

Since the end of 2013, he moved to UAE, where he is now working as a paediatric orthopaedic and paediatric spine surgeon at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. He is capable of treating wide range of paediatric conditions and research wise; he has more than 23 published papers. He is the Editor of “In Tech” book of Orthopaedics and wrote the orthopaedic chapter of the Danish Medical book: Sygdomslaere for Sunhedsprofessionelle. Besides he is reviewer for: Ugeskrift for laeger(Danish Medical Bulletin), DOS (Danish Orthopaedic Society), Journal of Paediatric Orthopaedics B, Journal of Children Orthopaedics (EPOS) and Journal of Orthopaedic Case Reports (JOCR).

He is the Co-founder of MEPOS (Middle East Pediatric Orthopedic Society) active member of the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS), International Congress of Early Onset Scoliosis (ICEOS), European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT), Danish Orthopaedic Society (DOS) and the Danish Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (DPOS). 

 
Prof. Zbigniew Ruszczak MD , PhD
Head of the Department of Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, Allergy and Wound Care

Prof. Dr. Zbigniew Ruszczak, MD, PhD, is a Consultant in Dermatology & Venereology, Pediatric Dermatology, Allergy, and Wound Care. He is currently the Head of the Department of Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, Allergy and Wound Care at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City – Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, the leading UAE Dermatology Center. Prior to this he served for over 2 years as Consultant and Head of Department of Dermatology & Allergy Clinic at Al Noor Hospitals Group PLC, and between 2009 and 2013 as Senior Consultant in Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, in Abu Dhabi.

Prof. Ruszczak has over 30 years of experience in academia and innovative biotechnology industry. He is German Board certified in Dermatology and Allergy, and Fellow of American Academy of Dermatology and European Academy of Dermatology & Venereology.  He presented over 460 lectures on national and international conferences, published over 125 peer-reviewed papers in international journals, and is the editor of the section “Pediatric Dermatology” in the Springer’s masterpiece “Textbook of Clinical Pediatrics” among others multiple book chapters.

He serves as invited speaker and faculty member of The American Academy of Dermatology and The World Congress of Dermatology since many years. Being a former Medical Director and Head of R&D at a leading US biotechnology company, Prof. Ruszczak holds multiple world patents in biotechnology and local drug delivery systems. He is also a Visiting Professor and Consultant of Dermatology at the Rutgers University of New Jersey, Newark, NJ, USA. His main interest is in Skin Immunology and Pediatric.
