Thank you for registering your attendance at the 2010 Champions of Sales Awards Trip. We hope the information below will assist you with your travel arrangements to Vienna.
Awards Trip
The Awards Trip will take place at The Hotel Imperial Vienna, Austria.

Programme Attire
For daytime we suggest clothing suitable for the activities, such as skiing (make sure you bring appropriate ski wear; boots and skis will be provided for you), walking, and Spa etc. The dress code for the Informal Dinner on Friday, 9th December at Griechenbeisl will be Casual and for the Group Dinner on Saturday, 10th December at Palais Daun Kinsky will be Black Tie/Cocktail Dresses.

Please note that there is no strict dress code at The Hotel Imperial Vienna. They welcome their guests to dress in whatever clothes make them feel comfortable and relaxed. Although we highly recommend some warm outerwear for both daytime and evening!

Hotel Accommodation
Hotel reservations have been made on your behalf at The Hotel Imperial Vienna. Please do not contact the hotel regarding your reservation as this can lead to duplicate reservations. All changes must go through the Champions of Sales Event Team.

Hotel Arrival Instructions
The official hotel check-in time is 3 PM. If you arrive earlier than 3 PM, the Event Team will endeavour to get your room assigned as soon as possible. Please make your way to the Champions of Sales Information Desk located in the hotel lobby to collect your welcome pack and room key.

Hotel Departure Instructions
The hotel check-out time is 12 noon. Please ensure that you allow 15 minutes for check-out procedures; you will be required to pay for any incidentals on your room account. Luggage can be stored with the concierge.

Room Incidentals
Please note that room incidentals i.e. mini bar, telephone and drinks at the main bar, are not covered by Sanofi. Should you wish to use these facilities you must provide your credit card details including identification i.e. driving licence, at the Hotel Reception Desk.
Activities
Your Personal Itinerary will be sent to you prior to the event, by way of a link within an email and will confirm the timings of the activities that you have requested for both you and your guest. Please meet in the hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to the activity departure time. Should you wish to make any changes to your itinerary, please contact Julia McKay at the Champions of Sales Information Desk.

Travel Arrangements
The Champions of Sales Event Team has organised flights for you and your guests attendance, please ensure you have received your flight itinerary via your Personal Itinerary prior to departure and that all your travel information is correct.

Note: Your luggage allowance is one piece per person for your journey to Vienna. Please check the weight allowance provided in your flight confirmation information on your Personal Itinerary.
Transportation - Upon Arrival at Airport
Transportation will be arranged for you from Vienna International Airport to The Hotel Imperial Vienna. Please collect your items of luggage and proceed to the baggage claim area where a transportation representative will greet you. The representative will be holding a sign with the 2010 Champions of Sales logo on it and will escort you to your transfer vehicle.

Transportation - Departure
Transportation will be arranged for you from the hotel to Vienna International Airport. Please see your Personal Itinerary for confirmed pick up time and pick up location. You should ensure you are at your pick up location 10 minutes prior to departure.
Travel Details
Air travellers may now carry liquids, gels and aerosols in their carry-on bag when going through security checkpoints. With certain exceptions for prescription and over-the-counter medicines, baby formula and breast milk, and other essential liquids, gels, and aerosols, the following rules apply to all liquids, gels, and aerosols you want to carry through a security checkpoint.
  • All liquids, gels and aerosols must be in 100ml or smaller containers. Larger containers that are half-full or toothpaste tubes rolled up are not allowed. Each container must be 100ml or smaller.

  • All liquids, gels and aerosols must be placed in a single, transparent, re-sealable plastic bag, which holds no more than a litre and measures approximately 20cm x 20xm. Gallon size bags or bags that are not zip-top such as fold-over sandwich bags are not allowed. Each traveller can use only one clear plastic bag. This bag must be presented for examination at the airport security point.

Due to rising fuel prices, some airlines are now implementing a charge for each piece for checked luggage. Please contact your flight provider prior to your travels to confirm if this policy applies.
Laptops/Security
Security. All items (cash, and valuables) that you do not need during the day should be placed in your bedroom safe. Please read the security advice and information available on the Sanofi Intranet prior to travel.
Additional Travel Expenses
All attendees should make their own way to/from their local airport in the UK, this and all other extra travel expenses settled at your own cost should be claimed back via the internal expense procedure, subject you your managers usual approval
