Dr. Omer Ahmed Omer Elhag Head of EP Department and Consultant Cardiologist Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Dr. Omer Ahmed Omer Elhag is a MBBS degree holder from Medical School , Khartoum university, Sudan and attained his MRCP in Ireland. After his internship in Sudan, he moved to UK in 1984 where he acquired his Diploma in Cardiology from London University. He finished his certification for CCST (UK) Cardiology and his Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board in 2006. His initial training is internal and general medicine followed by cardiology training and sub-specialty training in interventional cardiac electrophysiology. He worked in various hospitals in the UK and 15 years in Edinburgh University Hospitals, Scotland as a staff and consultant interventional cardiologist and electrophysiologist and honorary senior lecturer at the Edinburgh University. Currently, he is working as consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist, Head of EP Department at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi. The department is committed to providing Electrophysiology services to the whole country of United Arab Emirates. The centre has a very active and busy team performing all types of cardiac ablation procedures in addition to device implantation and follow up with dedicated arrhythmia clinics. Khalil is currently a consultant endocrinologist at the Imperial London Diabetes Centre‐ Abu Dhabi (ICLDC) and adjunct associate Professor at the United Arab Emirates University Al Ain UAE. He graduated from the University of Marseille‐ France than emigrated to Canada where he received his training in Internal Medicine at Queen’s University and Endocrinology at the University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Jawad Hashim Associate Professor College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University Dr. Jawad Hashim, an associate professor at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences of the UAE University, Al Ain, obtained his medical degree from The Aga Khan University, Pakistan and completed residency training in family medicine at the University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital, New York. Dr. Mishal A. Al-kasimi currently serves as CEO

Medical Director for the Abu Dhabi Centre for Care and Rehabilitation at the
Zayed Higher Organization, (ZHO) located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and
also was the Chair of Pediatric Services at Ambulatory Health Services (AHS),
for Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) In his role as Chair of Pediatric
Services, he led implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols, and
promoted the adoption of evidence based medicine, quality and efficiency of
clinical practice.
