Who will see my resume?

Any exhibiting company who has elected to hold interviews at Student Summit will have access to your resume.

Interviewing companies can be seen here.

How will I know if I'm selected to be interviewed?

You will be contacted directly by a representative from any company who would like to schedule an interview with you.

What if no one from a particular company contacted me for an interview, but I want to interview with them?

You will have an opportunity at the Networking and Career Fair to talk to interviewing companies on-site and request an interview. Also, there will be opportunities throughout the weekend to chat with a representative and give them your resume. In addition to Saturday evening's Networking and Career Fair, company representatives may be at their exhibit tables throughout most breaks and meals to meet students and answer questions.

Where are the interviews being held?

Interviews will take place in the Casco Ball Hall of the Holiday Inn by the Bay. There will be signs to direct you to the Casco Ball Hall/Interview area. When you arrive at the Casco Ball Hall, there will be a small area with limited seating for students with scheduled interviews. Please wait there for an interviewer to find you.

What should I bring to the interview?

You should bring plenty of printed copies of your resume and any materials that the interviewer requested. This may include a portfolio, cover letter or school transcripts.

What should I wear to my interview?

Our recommended attire for interviews is Business. Our recommended attire for the conference is Business Casual. Denim is not recommended for interviews unless specified otherwise by the company.

Will I have any other opportunities to land an interview onsite?

Yes. Exhibitors will be at their exhibit tables during most breaks and meals throughout the event and during the Career Fair on Saturday evening. We recommend stopping by their table and chatting with any company you'd like to interview with and providing them a copy of your resume.
