Apprentice of the Year 2015
 
 
The annual search for Australia and New Zealand’s leading automotive, heavy vehicle, marine and aviation apprentices – Snap-on Tools Apprentice of the Year – is on again for 2015.

Now in its seventh year, the competition seeks to reward apprentices who have superior technical ability but have also given back to their communities and respective industries.     

An overall Apprentice of the Year will be awarded, but there are also two additional sub-categories including:
  • Apprentice of the Year Rising Star: for an apprentice showing talent and promise
  • Contribution to Armed Forces: an excellent apprentice who goes above and beyond in the service of our armed forces
Winners will be selected through a robust and independent judging process composed of well-known and respected figures from a range of trade and training backgrounds.

Prizes

The overall Apprentice of the Year winner will take home a prize package valued over AU$12,500 inc. GST, including a Snap-on Tools product pack featuring all the essentials to set an apprentice up for life and a Flat Black Custom Classic Toolbox with choice of colour trim to store their growing tool collection in.

Category award winners will receive a tool kit valued over AU$2,500 inc. GST.

  •     1st July – Entry submissions open
  •     31st August – Entry submissions closed
  •     1st September to 19th October – Judging process
  •     13th November - Overall winner and category winners will be announced
