Participants
in the New York State Core Body of Knowledge Trainer Institute Series have
identified real-life ethical dilemmas they encounter in their work as
professional development providers. This one-day trainer institute has
been developed specifically to assist professional development providers in
managing such ethical dilemmas. Together, we will examine these real-life
dilemmas, create a decision making guide and identify helpful tools and
resources. Participants will be given strategies to avoid and address
ethical dilemmas, and gain a deeper understanding of their ethical
responsibilities and role in shifting the culture of professional
development.
