Thank you for your interest in submitting a proposal for the 2nd International Congress on Chocolate and Cocoa in Medicine of the International Society of Chocolate and Cocoa in Medicine (ISCHOM).
Please follow these guidelines to ensure your paper is reviewed. Papers that are not prepared according to these formatting instructions will NOT be reviewed.
The deadline for submitting abstracts is 18th June, 2015
- The abstract submission should be a Microsoft Word file (.doc or .docx), written in English.
- The abstract length is limited to 2000 characters, including spaces.
- Use 12-point Times New Roman font, lower case and 1.5 line spacing.
- Abstracts should be structured as follows: Background and objectives - Methodology - Results and Conclusions.
- Title should be written in bold capital letters.
- Authors and affiliations: Enter all authors in the order they should appear in the heading of the abstract. The name of the presenting author should be underlined. Names should be written in lower case using the following format: first author’s last name, first name1; second author’s last name, first name2; etc. 1,2,etcaffiliation.
- The document should indicate your preference in terms of oral or poster presentation. Due to the large number of papers expected and limited programme space, we cannot guarantee all oral presentation requests and you may be offered a poster presentation instead. This decision will be made by the Programme Committee, once the abstract submission period is closed.
- Abstracts should be marked by email to: cocoamed2015@gmail.com with the subject market as “Abstract” and the first and last name of the first author.
- A confirmation email should be received within seven days.
- At least one author of the abstract must register for the meeting and pay the corresponding meeting registration fee.
By submitting your abstract, you confirm that each co-author has been informed of this abstract submission and has agreed to all information as it was submitted.
The Programme Committee reserves the right to decline a presentation of any submitted abstracts that lack scientific content or merit.
