Paul was with the Commonwealth Government for 20 years, including 14 with the Department of Health and Ageing (4 years in the Department’s National Office Canberra, Aged and Community Care Division and 10 years with the Department’s South Australian Office Residential Care Unit). Subsequently Paul was an Admissions Manager with Southern Cross Care and currently provides a consultancy service on Commonwealth operational requirements such as transfers, sales and admissions; funding applications including ACAR; and maximizing residential aged care services’ income through detailed analysis of Medicare Statements (subsidy/supplements) and residents’ fees and payments.
