The Larry Sawyer Educators' Symposium will be held in Miami, Florida on Sunday, July 9, 2020, from 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM, in conjunction with The Institute of Internal Auditor’s 2020 International Conference.
The symposium provides an opportunity for researchers to present current research findings and explore their applicability to the practice of internal auditing and instructional relevance in an academic setting. Additionally, the symposium provides a vehicle for researchers to propose and vet new topics for research with their peers and internal audit practitioners.
The Call for Papers/Proposals is now open. Interested parties should complete the online submission form indicating Category I: Current Research, Category II: Research Proposal, Category III: Teaching Techniques. In order to be considered all submission must be received by no later than 5:00 PM EDT on November 30, 2019.

- Current users: enter your email and password;
- Go to Submissions (at the top left corner of this page), and click on 'Your Submissions + Add New’
- Fill out ALL of the mandatory fields (marked with a red asterisk*);
- Click ‘Save and Continue Later’ before you exit your submission - at the bottom right corner of the screen it will say 'Incomplete';
- Click ‘Save & Submit’ only when you have completed your submission - at the bottom right corner of the screen it will say 'Complete';
- You will receive an automated email confirming your submission. There will be an edit submission link in that email should you need to make edits.
To check your submission status (complete/ incomplete) and make edits:
- Use the link provided in the confirmation email or go to https://www.eiseverywhere.com/eSites/489174/Homepage
- Login, open your submission, and make the necessary updates;
- Click ‘Save & Submit’ when finished;
- Submission status will show under 'Submission Completeness’.
If you had previously saved & submitted your submission, you will still be able to make changes to your submission until the stated deadline.
