Air
It's just about 10 minutes from baggage claim to beautiful downtown Spokane! Conveniently located just seven miles west of town, Spokane International Airport (GEG) is the second largest airport in Washington State, providing quick and easy access to more than 7,000 hotel rooms. Served by six major air carriers, more than 100 flights a day connect Spokane to cities across the United States, with access to 13 major hubs nationwide. And even though you won't likely need a car while you're here, Spokane offers convenient on-site rental cars right at the Spokane International Airport terminal!

Auto
Do you enjoy the view from the driver's seat? Interstate 90 seamlessly connects Seattle to Spokane, while several other major highways intersect here, making your trip to and from your meeting both convenient and scenic. Plus, Spokane is the hub for an incredibly diverse region so when you drive here for your meeting or convention, this may be the perfect jumping off point for a terrific vacation before or after your event.

Train
Are you thinking you'd like to travel by train? Amtrak's Empire Builder offers daily service into Spokane connecting the Pacific Coast cities of Seattle and Portland to Spokane and on to Chicago. The Amtrak Passenger Station is conveniently located in the heart of downtown for easy access to nearby hotels and convention and meeting facilities.

On Foot
Once you're here, getting around Spokane is simple! Detailed city maps and friendly personal guidance are readily available seven days a week at our downtown Visitor Information Center at 201 W Main Ave. Maps are also available at many businesses throughout downtown and the county.

"Pedestrian friendly" might seem overused, but we're not afraid to tout our wide sidewalks, short city blocks, great weather and beautiful landscaping! Spokane's city blocks average a mere 325 feet long, while Chicago's city blocks are more than 1,000 feet! And don't forget about the 24-hour downtown security ambassadors and the city's "Clean Teams" making sure our city stays safe and sparkling. Cold outside? You'll find warmth and connectivity in one of the largest skywalk systems in the nation.

Public Transportation
Avoid the fuss and take the bus! The Spokane Transit Authority, STA, is Spokane's public transit system. Green buses and trolleys offer convenient service throughout Spokane County, including stops at major shopping, entertainment and hospitality destinations.
