Cocktail Reception  

Start your weekend in style at the ultimate knitting event at the opening cocktail reception on Friday November 1 at 6:30 p.m. Sip champagne, mingle with the knitterati and fellow attendees as we celebrate a three days full of fashion, fiber and education.

Entry to the Cocktail Reception is exclusive to registrants of the Magnificent Miler or the Windy City Weekend packages.

Gala Dinner

Don’t miss the Gala Dinner Saturday, November 2, from 7:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. at the Palmer House, where you will have the opportunity to dine with the knitterati and members of the Vogue Knitting staff. Legendary designer and knitter Alice Starmore will give attendees an exclusive preview of her new book, Tudor Roses. Alice will entertain us with stories about all the elements that informed the finished book, from the choice of yarns and the creation of stitch patterns to the illustrations, styling, and book design itself. There will also be a knit-couture fashion show, featuring a special selection of the garments from Tudor Roses, styled by Alice and her daughter Jade!

Experience the Vogue Knitting knit-couture fashion show, celebrating the art of handknit garments in today’s latest fashions and colors.

Dress attire for both events is festive!
