1. Am I allowed to bring a companion?
The actual business conference is for registered advisors only. However, you are welcome to bring a companion over the age of 18 who can join you at our social events, such as breakfast, cocktails and dinners. During the registration process, simply indicate which social events they will attend and we will make sure they are added to our guest list.
2. How many CE credits will I receive, and when will I receive them?
Mackenzie Investments will apply for CE credits from the regulatory organizations listed below at the time of the event.
- The Institute for Advanced Financial Education (IAFE)
- Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC)
- Financial Planning Standards Council (FPSC)
Note: Attendance for the full day is required to be eligible to receive CE Credits. Upon approval from all governing bodies, you will receive your CE credit(s) within six to eight weeks of the conference.
3. I need accommodations. How do I book my hotel?
A small block of hotel rooms has been arranged for our event in Blue Mountain. Rooms will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. More details will be provided when registering online with the hotel for these events. All accommodation costs are the responsibility of the advisor. Mackenzie Investments is not permitted to book, provide payment or cancel accommodation on an advisor’s behalf.
4. Can I book additional nights at the hotel outside the conference?
Rooms booked outside of our conference dates will be subject to hotel availability. The room rate of $209 will be extended 3 days pre and post conference dates.
5. What is the dress code for this conference?
Meetings: Business Casual
Evening Activities: Casual
