Virtual Event Description

The School for Advanced Research is pleased to present, Senses of Place, a summer series of online discussions exploring the cultural significance of place. Each event offers new insights on the connections between diverse cultures, and illustrates how place impacts the spaces created by cultures living in unique environments and historical circumstances. Register here to view the recordings of the full series, which was created in partnership with Thornburg Foundation and Terra2022.

The Terra 2022 year-long virtual lead-up event series, running from June 2021 to June 2022, presents the richness and diversity of earthen architectural heritage around the world, the individuals and organizations working in the sector, and the communities who care for this heritage and its traditions.
