Welcome to the BornGlobal Innovators Forum 2019, a one day online and in-person event, connecting pioneering start-ups in HealthTech, Digital Health and Medical Devices from across the globe with Japanese corporate venture capital and strategic investors to develop and grow new business alliances.
We are looking for start-up companies that are ready to meet with corporate strategic investors to scale their businesses by entering into POC tests or joint development work. We invite venture investors of various stages to put their portfolio companies forward and submit an application to pitch. We invite their investors to join a panel of industry peers and share insight and strategy with Japanese corporate investors.

Event Features
The Forum
Recognising cash strapped, time-starved start-ups want to meet hard to reach investment partners, BornGlobal harnesses modern video conferencing to traditional venue based events, allowing participants to join us in the most efficient way possible.
This one day program features a combination of keynotes, discussion panels and start-up pitches from around the globe.
Market Focus Panels: Early Stage Investors share their insight and strategies from North America, Europe, Israel, Turkey and Japan
60 start ups will be featured through video presentations and slide decks, 15 of which will be invited to pitch live in front of the 40 CVCs expected to attend.
All participants are invited to join online, but of course, should you be in Tokyo, you will be given a warm welcome at our physical event.

Location
The BornGlobal Innovators Forum takes place online with chapters in Nebraska, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Tel Aviv, Istanbul and Tokyo. Our physical presence is in the Nihonbashi district of Tokyo at the headquarters of LINK-J.
Centrally located in the heart of Tokyo, Nihonbashi boasts an inviting urban environment that offers a wide range of retail, lodging, and other facilities and is the focus of attention on both the domestic and international levels for the media, the general public, and investors. Nihonbashi was designated a global life science business hub by the Tokyo prefectural government in its Long-Term Vision for Tokyo formulated in 2014.
Moreover, it is the place where the business interests of Japan's most prominent pharmaceutical companies converge and where insights in the life sciences coalesce.
